Business is tight!

Do you also feel it?
Business is tight, probably  more so for the smaller businesses or commercial farmers.
My farther in law farms on the side. He can't create a large enough turnover to earn a salary from it.
So, like many of us, entrepreneur at heart, he had find a job and in his leisure time do what he loves, farming!

Yet, nothing puts him down. He really is a go getter! He will get an idea just by watching someone else doing a task and be inspired to find a better, quicker and more effective way of doing it!
He isn't someone who finds fault with everything, no!  He is bright enough to know when to come up with his own plan and when to take good advice.

He is always alert and ready!  In every way and everything that he does throughout the day, he will find something to learn that will either add value to his life or improve a method or way of doing things in some sort of manner!

He is my inspiration for 2013, in the sense that nothing puts him down and although that bad things do happen and business, as well as our personal lives aren't always perfect, he has a spirit that never wavers and never fades!  The reason I found was that he believes in his dreams and aspirations!

You don't always have too fight for things in your life or convince people that you will succeed!
No, his life philosophy is too live every day and be a testimony of what you believe!
Somewhere things will have to start going your way because you are proving people wrong every day!
We can't way for moments to pass us by!  Someone else will always make decisions for us and eventually live our lives for us!
 Life will pass you by!

Whether it is a personal choice or a business or career choice!  We have to decide to live, then we won't just survive, but we will soar!

Choose 2013 to live!  I want to inspire you to ignite your spirit in others so that in everything you do you will soar above situations and past failures"

We are daily inspired by others around us, but we need to believe in ourselves and have the guts to live our dreams. Then only can we really succeed and make life altering choices that will effect our personal lives, business or career.

Shop Trader will always inspire and encourage people to take the leap of faith and go for the opportunity to become a business owner or to sell your business to start a newer and bigger one!
But family comes first and if you are happy at home and know what you want out of life, then the business and your staff is happy!

If you can take care of your staff like you do with your family, success is the only light ahead!

Shop Trader wishes you all the best for 2013 and may you be inspired by the small things in life to dare to go for the bigger things

Blessings!

2013

Hi Everyone!

Apologies for being so quiet, but as you know it was Christmas and New Year enjoyed with family and friends.  The Shop Trader Team believes in hard work and commitment, but we are also very pro-family, which also means that we took some time off ourselves to spend with family.

It is always good to keep in mind that it is the support we receive at home that keeps us afloat.
So, our approach this year is a bit different.  We want to break away from the norm of life, we want to go back to family time and values.

They are whom we work for, we work to keep our families safe, to create opportunities, to feed and cloth, to take on holiday and spend time with.  This year, 2013, the focus is going to be family.

They are our muse, our inspiration and we want to shift the focus back to family.  When you get home from work, leave your work until the next morning at the office, don't answer the phone during family time, if it is business related.  I know that it is not conventional and that business might suffer due to this, but believe me, it is worth it.  The same attitude will have a ripple effect in the office?

Why?

Mmm...that is a very good question.  The moment our perspective changes, the input will also change which will then effect the output.  Still not getting what I am saying?

Well, let me put it this way..
The moment that family  become your priority, you will automatically implement it at the office....and as we all know...once you start valuing your staff/employees, they start valuing the company and that brings in revenue.

The only difference is that this way you will mean it and nothing about it will be fake.  We live ian a fast pase era and anyone will gladly accept some kindness and appreciation.

Most companies don't pay a lot of attention to HR and this is where we loose our clients because the staff won't go that extra mile or push for that sale.  Why should they?  There is no incentive, no motivation etc..

Think about it and comment.

Happy holidays and 2013.
